United Airlines Will Compensate All Flight 3411 Passengers

United Airlines will reimburse all 70 passengers on Flight 3411, where a passenger was forcibly removed due to overbooking.
Everyone on board will be given some sort of compensation—cash, frequent-flier miles or something else—by the airline as it continues to recover from the negative fallout.
CEO Oscar Munoz already has offered an apology, and personally appeared on Good Morning America to say he was “ashamed” of how United treated the customer.
Munoz said United also will revisit the incentive program that rewards passengers for volunteering to be bumped, and promised that law enforcement officers will not be used again.
