Uniworld River Cruises Adds Features to Travel Agent Portal
by Daniel McCarthy /
Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection is adding some new features to its travel agent booking platform that it says will improve the experience for travel agents, including waitlist functionality for the first time.
The improvements include easier use for promo codes — agents booking through Uniworld will now be able to see whether or not a promotional code is valid once entered and will instantly be able to see a clear breakdown of the savings in the “breakdown section” once the promo code is entered. The savings breakdown will include shipboard credits.
“We value our partner agencies and travel advisors. After all, they engage with us and our technology every day and understand best how the tools can benefit their business,” said Uniworld president and CEO Ellen Bettridge. “Based on their recommendations, we are delighted to deliver these new updates.”
Two more improvements are included in the upgrade. First, a new and simple option for sending invoices that will allow agents to easily print or email a copy of invoices to their clients.
Second, a booking status display shows the status of transactions — confirmed, paid in full, deposit, released, and canceled — of all bookings in the system.
