Vacation By Rail Celebrates Canada's 150th Anniversary

Vacation By Rail Tours is offering five new packages for travelers to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Canada, including whale-watching on the St. Lawrence River, strolls down the cobble-stoned streets of Quebec City and breath-taking views of the Laurentian Mountains.

Packages range from $2,475 per person for the Taste of Quebec to $512 per person for the company’s combination of Montreal and Quebec City. Vacation by Rail’s 10-day Montreal to Vancouver Trans Canada Adventure, which includes VIA Rail’s legendary Canadian rail service between Toronto and Vancouver, starts at $2,315 per person.
