Hilton's modern luxury brand, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, opened a property this week in the U.S. capital.
The 360-room Conrad Washington, DC joined the CityCenterDC complex, the district’s downtown megaproject that already includes a host of residences, offices and upscale retail offerings. An all-glass exterior wraps around the hotel’s ten floors, as well as the 30,000 square feet of high-end retail space below the hotel on the ground floor.
Conrad Washington, DC is home to a fine-dining restaurant called Estuary, helmed by James Beard Award recipients and Top Chef finalists, Bryan and Michael Voltaggio. The farm-to-table dining experience includes seafood from the Chesapeake Bay, while the menu features locally-inspired favorites, including Atlantic cod, 'Maryland crab pretending to be shrimp toast,' fried calamari, and crab rangoon.

On the hotel’s tenth floor, the executive-level Sakura Club provides meals made-to-order by a private chef; a dedicated club concierge; private meeting rooms; a Japanese whiskey collection and traditional afternoon tea. Access to the club – which also includes priority reservations at Estuary and special access to rooftop bar events – is available with the purchase of club level guestrooms and suites.
Perched at the top of the building, the rooftop bar and lounge boasts panoramic views of the business district.
Guests who book meetings and events also have access to 32,000 square feet of elevated meeting space with floor-to-ceiling windows, three outdoor terraces, and a dedicated event terrace.
