The terms of Travelport’s subscriber opt-in programs for American Airlines remain unchanged.
It is the second extension of the agreements. Previously, Travelport and American had extended them until an unspecified date “beyond 2011.”
American Airlines is suing Travelport and Sabre for antitrust violations in federal and state courts in Texas. The state case is slated to go to trial Aug. 6.
Meanwhile, the judge in the federal lawsuit ordered Sabre and American into mediation, but the odds of a resolution arising out of the process are slim. Travelport and American went through the exercise last fall, to no avail.
