Travelport Signs Agreements with Avianca, TACA
Travelport signed two new agreements with Avianca and TACA Airlines. One is a multi-year content agreement providing all Travelport travel agents with full global access to the group’s published fare inventory. The other is a technology services agreement providing Travelport Rapid Reprice across multiple distribution channels, automating the process of repricing and reissuing airline tickets when passenger itineraries change. Travelport agencies will be able to process ticket reissues validated on TACA Airlines and Avianca.

Expanded Deal Gives Sabre Preferred Seat Access on easyJet
Sabre Travel Network expanded its agreement with easyJet to include access to easyJet’s allocated seating trial, which is currently running on selected routes across the network. Passengers will be able to reserve their preferred seat on the aircraft at the time of booking with Sabre agents who have access to easyJet content.

Travelport to Refer U.K., Ireland Subscribers to Digital Visitor
Travelport will refer its U.K. and Ireland subscribers to Digital Visitor for their social media content management and broadcast tools to fuel organic traffic to their websites. The Bristol, U.K.-based firm will provide its services at “preferential” rates.

Saudi Airline Upgrades Sabre Connectivity Level
Saudi Arabian Airlines extended its agreement with Sabre Travel Network Middle East, upgrading its level of connectivity and providing for the implementation of the electronic miscellaneous document as the carrier gears up for its entry into the SkyTeam alliance.

New Mongolian Carrier Inks Deal with Amadeus
Mongolian Airlines Group, a new domestic and regional carrier, signed a global distribution agreement that will enable the airline’s flight schedule, fares and availability to be viewed and booked via the Amadeus Selling Platform.

Sabre Enters Full-Content Agreement with Moscow-Based Carrier
Sabre Travel Network signed a full-content agreement to distribute Moscow-based VIM Avia’s fares, schedules and inventory. VIM flies domestic, European and central and western Asian routes.

Atlas Travel Goes With Full AmadeusOne Tech Suite
Milford, Mass.-based Atlas Travel, which reported $116 million ARC sales for 2010, was first to select the full suite of Amadeus One technology solutions. The suite includes the Amadeus One Desktop, a web-based, multisource point-of-sale solution; the Amadeus One Travel Portal, which allows agencies to provide their corporate customers with access to dynamic content and travel tools; the Amadeus One Open Profile Suite, which synchronizes with agency, ERP, GDS and online booking systems; and Amadeus e-Travel Management, a corporate booking tool.
