Italy's Costa Cruises Pauses Operations

by Jessica Montevago / March 13, 2020

Italy-based Costa Cruises announced it will put on hold the global operations of its ships, impacting voyages until April 3 due to the global pandemic of COVID-19.

It will return to operations with the April 3 sailing of Costa Magica from Barcelona, the April 4 sailing of Costa Smeralda and Costa Pacifica and the April 5 sailing of Costa Luminosa and Costa Diadema.

Costa Cruises is promptly informing travel agents and customers who were looking forward to boarding one of Costa ships, who will receive a voucher for a future cruise credit.
