Viking Ocean Cruise this week unveiled the schedule for its 2021 World Cruise, a 161-day journey that will take passengers to 75 ports spread across six continents, including six brand new ports of call for Viking, and with 13 overnight stays.

The sailing, which will take place on the 930-guest Viking Sun, kicks off on Dec. 14, 2020, from Miami. The ship will take guests to Cuba, Colombia, through the Panama Canal and up along Mexico’s west coast, stopping at Colon, Leon, Puerto Quetzalma, and Cabo San Lucas.

After three stops in California, Viking Sun will head to Oahu and Kauai, Hawaii, which will mark the first time the cruise line has pulled into a Hawaiian port.

The ship will then head through French Polynesia, through New Zealand and Australia, and then up through Southeast Asia, a journey that will feature stops in cities like Melbourne, Sydney, Bali, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, and more.

Viking Sun will finish the sailing in Europe, after moving up through Northeast Africa. The final leg of the journey includes stops in Istanbul, Corfu, Rome, Barcelona, and finally London.

Guests can opt to just sail a 140-day segment of the World Cruise — Viking is offering a chance to embark in Los Angeles on Jan. 4, 2021. That segment includes 66 ports spread across 27 countries.

Viking Ocean offers an all-inclusive fare, which is fully commissionable to travel agents, and includes: WiFi, specialty dining, shore excursions, port charges, beer and wine, government taxes, Business Class air, transfers, all gratuities, shipping services for luggage, and complimentary visa services.

The complete World Cruise is priced at $59,995 per person, with the shorter option priced at $52,995.
