Emirates Considering Adding Atlanta-Dubai Route When Delta Bows Out
Following Delta’s announcement to stop flying an Atlanta-Dubai route, Emirates Airline says it’s considering adding the non-stop route to its own roster. The airline said it’s “studying the opportunity” to take on the lucrative flight route, which flies at an average of more than 85% capacity.
Just last week, Delta said it can’t compete with government-subsidized airlines, including Emirates, Etihad Airways, and Qatar Airways, which is accused of allegedly violating international Open Skies agreements.
