Globus Family of Brands Updates COVID-19 Vaccine Policy

Passengers on Avalon Waterways ships -- as well as guests on Globus and Cosmos tours -- will no longer need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
The Globus family of brands, which includes Globus, Cosmos and Avalon Waterways, has updated its COVID-19 vaccination policy. Starting March 1, 2023, guests with any of the three brands will no longer be required to be vaccinated.
“The health and safety of our guests remain our top priority and while we highly recommend that travelers are vaccinated against COVID-19, after March 1, 2023, we will no longer require it. Destinations and other transportation operators – like airlines – have their own rules and regulations. It will be up to the responsibility of our guests to understand and comply with those policies to move freely across the globe.”
The previous policy, requiring all guests be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, remains in effect until March 1, 2023. Testing is not required, nor will it be when the policy change goes into effect.
