How Advisors Craft Personalized Experiences for the Luxury Traveler

How Advisors Craft Personalized Experiences for the Luxury Traveler

Travel advisors without luxury business need to take note—the luxury segment is growing. And fast.

According to Forrester Research, in the U.S. alone, the number of people with over $1 million in liquid assets (excluding home/retirement funds) is approaching nine million, about 3% of the population. This segment of the population is growing seven times faster than any other segment.

It’s not just that growth that makes it important for advisors. Luxury is where the biggest agencies drive margins—the higher the trip cost, the higher the commission—and is generally more resilient in times of economic trouble.

To help advisors build off of that growth, the team at TMR today is excited to release the new white paper that zeroes in on the segment called The Art of Luxury: Crafting Personalized Experiences for the Discerning Traveler.

The White Paper, sponsored by Cruise Planners, takes a look at why the segment is important and informs readers on who the luxury travel is, and what they want in their journey. At the same time, it takes a hard look at why luxury has become such a hot specialty among advisors, what’s driving their success, and how advisors new to the segment can hit the ground running. It is an inside look at the luxury segment, with input from both advisors and suppliers, that will help you kickstart luxury business.

The full report can be accessed here or via TMR’s training page.
