Virtuoso Adds New Executives to Leadership Team
by Dori Saltzman /Virtuoso has appointed three seasoned travel executives to key positions on its leadership team. The new additions are Sean Murphy as Vice President of Product Marketing and Strategy; Michael Moten as Vice President of Finance and Accounting; and Rakesh Dewan as Vice President of Global Partner Relations.
Murphy comes to Virtuoso with a deep luxury travel and lifestyle marketing background. Most recently, he held a senior position with Pace Communications, a marketing agency, working with high-profile clients such as Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, PepsiCo, and Verizon. He will lead Virtuoso’s product marketing team in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive the success of the network’s products, capture market share, and grow revenue in collaboration with the sales and product teams.
Moten joins Virtuoso after serving as an operation leader for financial teams across five industries, including a Fortune 10 company. In his new role, he is responsible for orchestrating the company’s financial and accounting functions and leading the finance and accounting teams.
Dewan brings years of experience in travel and tourism to his role within Virtuoso. Prior to joining Virtuoso, Dewan held executive positions at TripArc, CIE Tours, Uniworld Boutique River Cruises, and Tauck, where he successfully launched Tauck River Cruising. He is responsible for leading the global partner relations team in managing partner relationships, further developing Virtuoso’s preferred partner portfolio, and ensuring partner success by increasing engagement and satisfaction with the network’s products and services.
