Etihad Airways has temporarily suspended transit travel through Abu Dhabi International Airport as of Monday, March 23, to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The move follows a decision by authorities in Abu Dhabi to suspend all inbound, outbound, and transit passenger flights in the UAE.
Any passengers booked on connecting flights via Abu Dhabi to anywhere else on the Etihad network will not be permitted to travel. Guests will be notified if their flight is cancelled.
Etihad Airways will temporarily suspend all flights on Wednesday, March 25, for an initial period of 14 days.
Scheduled flights with Etihad Airways before June 30, 2020 can be rebooked for free or canceled with the value as credit towards a future trip.
