El San Juan Hotel to Reopen in December

After closing for more than a year due to damage from Hurricane Maria, El San Juan Hotel will reopen in time for the holiday season on Dec. 14.

The landmark 388-room property has undergone an extensive restoration process, including its iconic chandelier, distinguished hand-carved Mahogany that adorns the ceiling, columns and vaulted arches throughout the lobby. All grand tower guestrooms, poolside and oceanfront villas and suites-featuring two signature suites have been restored.

In addition, the property's public spaces, four swimming pools, cabanas and landscaping have been revamped. A new state-of-the-art tri-level Well & Being Fitness Center was also introduced.
