Longtime counsel at U.S. Tour Operator Association (USTOA) John Hughes passed away on Aug. 18.
Through his 31 years of service to USTOA, “John has been a tremendous resource and advocate” Charlie Ball, USTOA Chairman, said in an email to members.
“No one has been a more passionate spokesman for our core value of ‘Integrity in Travel’, no one has helped us navigate more of the transitions and challenges we have faced and no one has been a great friend to more of us than John.”
“His positive outlook and appreciation for all the wonder in experiencing new places and people is an example for us all.”
Donations in John's Memory can be sent to The Interfaith Nutrition Network, a not-for-profit that provides a broad variety of essential services to assist those challenged by hunger, homelessness and profound poverty.
