LaGuardia Getting $4 Billion Renovation
New York’s LaGuardia Airport will be getting a $4 billion dollar overhaul, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced on Tuesday. The update, which is expected to be approved by the Port Authority next year, will link all four of the airport’s terminals, completely rebuild terminal B, provide better public transportation connections and extend the airport’s apron, alleviating ground traffic and congestion on its runways. Construction is expected to take four to five years.
“This is what New Yorkers deserve and have deserved for a long time. And now we’re going to get it,” Gov. Cuomo said.
