The newest Marriott hotel, The Westin Yokohama, is now welcoming guests.

In total, the hotel offers 373 rooms in Yokohama, a city just southwest of Tokyo, and a key port in Japan. The hotel sits in the city’s new Central business district offering easy access to areas such as the largest Chinatown in Japan and the city's Sankeien Garden, and just a 25-minute drive from Tokyo's Haneda Airport.

All of the 373 rooms feature Weston's iconic Heavenly Bed along with floor-to-ceiling windows that allow for views of the Yokohama cityscape. Each of the room's bathrooms also includes Westin's signature Heavenly rain showers and other amenities.

For food and drink, the hotel offers five different eateries including an all-day dining restaurant inspired by French Seaside towns called Brasserie du Quai and a contemporary izakaya-style restaurant that offers produce from local seas, fields, and forests called Kissui-sen.

The hotel's signature restaurant, called Iron Bay, offers a menu of grilled made-to-order including meats, seafood, and farm-to-table vegetables and fruits, all sourced locally.

For wellness, the hotel offers also offers 10,000 sq. ft. of facilities including Japan's first Heavenly Spa By Westin along with four different treatment rooms.  it also offers a heated indoor swimming pool, a WestinWorkout Fitness Studio, and a local RunWestin program that offers jogging maps of nearby areas, including loops of three or five miles.

For meetings and events, the hotel offers 11,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor space including a 5,000 sq. ft. grand ballroom and four other meeting spaces.

The hotel is Westin's sixth property in Japan, joining others in Hokkaido, Kyoto, Osaka, Sendai, and Tokyo. The new Yokohama property will participate in Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott's member-only travel program.

"We are thrilled to expand the brand's footprint in Japan with the opening of The Westin Yokohama," said Jennifer Connell, Global Brand Leader, Westin Hotels & Resorts and Vice President, Distinctive Premium Brands, Marriott International.

"As the global hospitality leader in well-being for more than a decade, Westin continues to evolve and deliver its signature wellness programs to adapt to the needs of the modern traveler. The Westin Yokohama debuts as a haven of renewal, offering guests and locals a distinct experience in Japan's new central business district and sought-after leisure destination."
