AmaWaterways is extending its free sailing offer to frontline medical workers through additional 2022 European sailings as part of its National Nurses Week celebration.

Frontline medical workers can now reserve a complimentary cabin, with one paying guest in the same stateroom, on 46 different, seven-night European cruises in 2022. Bookings have to be made by June 30 and full details can be found on AmaWaterways’ website.

“Frontline medical heroes have been selflessly caring for others since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic over two years ago, and we want to show our continued appreciation for their heroic work,” said Kristin Karst, executive vice president and co-founder of AmaWaterways.

“It gives me great pleasure to welcome these hardworking individuals on board for an unforgettable river cruise vacation where they can explore the grand capitals and charming Old-World villages of the Danube, the fairytale castles of the Rhine, and much more!”

The river line’s 2022 schedule includes its Enchanting Rhine, Melodies of the Danube, and Impressions of the Seine & Paris, itineraries, all bringing guests through Europe on AmaWaterways’ river ships that feature open-air sundecks, shore excursions in every port, and more. Some of the line’s most popular itineraries, including its Christmas market sailings, have been selling out for 2022.

AmaWaterways has been inviting nurses, doctors, and other frontline medical workers onto sailings since its pandemic restart last year. It was one of many travel companies to reach out to that community during COVID-19.
