U.S. China Travel Service, Inc. has resigned its Active Membership in USTOA effective Dec. 13, 2019, and as a result has ceased participation in the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program.
Specializing in China since 1928, U.S. China Travel Service, Inc. is the oldest-and-largest travel group serving the region, with over 300 offices throughout China.
“Travel agents and consumers should be aware that deposits made to U.S. China Travel Service, Inc. on or prior to Dec. 13, 2019 are protected under the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program. Client deposits thereafter will not be covered by the USTOA program,” advises USTOA President and CEO, Terry Dale.
“Due to changes in our company’s business layout and equity structure, we’ve decided to temporarily withdraw our membership from USTOA,” said Sherry Chai, Deputy General Manager.
Dale added that U.S. China Travel Service, Inc. has been a valued partner since 1997 and appreciates the support the company provided to USTOA. “We look forward to welcoming U.S. China Travel Service, Inc. back as a member in the future,” Dale said.
