WestJet is growing its California network.

The Canadian carrier announced on Monday that it would again be flying non-stop service between Calgary and Orange County/Anaheim starting on Nov. 4, 2021.

The plan is for WestJet to fly that service twice weekly for one month until Dec. 7, 2021, when it will up to three times weekly.

From Orange County/Anaheim, WestJet passengers will be able to connect to a number of different U.S. destinations through the carrier’s codeshare with Delta Air Lines.

Also on Monday, WestJet announced that it would be extended its service from Calgary to San Francisco from seasonal to year-round. WestJet will operate that route twice weekly starting on Oct. 31, 2021.

"We are excited to increase connectivity between the Golden State and Alberta, another step toward strengthening our presence as Western Canada's largest air carrier while restoring our transborder network," said John Weatherill, WestJet Chief Commercial Officer.

"Whether visiting the many world-renowned theme parks in Orange County, escaping the cold winter to explore San Francisco's coastline, or jet setting to marvel at the Canadian Rockies, these routes will provide more affordable and convenient travel options for business and leisure travel.”
