Envoyage Group Center for Travel Advisors Just Launched

Two months ago, Flight Centre Travel Group’s Independent division- a global network of more than 1,500 independent travel advisors and agencies across the U.S., Canada, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand – announced its global rebranding as Envoyage. And now, the company has launched a new Envoyage Group Center to further support travel advisors selling group travel.

What the rebranding means
Prior to the rebranding, travel divisions in every country represented by the global company were operating as their own brands. Envoyage brought together all the brands under one name. The rebrand reaches out to independent travel advisors and agencies with a new visual identity that reflects the group’s global community, technology, and comprehensive product marketplace.

The name Envoyage combines the notion of connection through “envoy” and “travel” through “voyage.” The bridge depicted in the logo represents the growth journey that travel agents can experience, and the incredible travel journeys travelers can go on, with the brand.

“Our research tells us Envoyage conjures up a sense of aspiration, a feeling of security and an immediate association with travel and personalization, so it truly embodies everything our independent division is about,” the company said in a statement.

The new brand focuses on nurturing the huge potential in the independent travel space. Independent travel has been one of the fastest growing divisions for the company in recent years, and the investment in the new Envoyage brand signals the significant role they expect this segment to play in their future business model, according to a company spokesperson.

Under the Envoyage brand, the company will also branch out into unique extensions specializing in the lucrative and growing areas of corporate and luxury travel.

How Envoyage Group Center helps advisors
The just-launched Envoyage Group Center is a dedicated division focused on supporting travel advisors and agencies specializing in group bookings.

It is staffed by a team of experienced professionals who work to secure the best group rates, manage inventory, finalize documents, and provide support for both hotel and air group bookings.

With innovative technology and customizable solutions, the Envoyage Group Center simplifies the process of booking groups, allowing travel professionals to focus on what they do best – creating unforgettable experiences for their clients.

“We are thrilled to unveil Envoyage in the United States,” says Christina Pedroni, executive vice president & general manager for Envoyage’s business in the United States. “Our goal is to empower travel professionals with the tools and support they need to succeed in an increasingly competitive industry. With the launch of the Envoyage Group Center, we are taking our commitment to the next level, providing specialized support for group bookings as part of our product marketplace.

“The beauty of our offering is that we have put our members in the driver’s seat, allowing them to tap into as much or as little as they need to succeed, grow, and thrive as travel entrepreneurs.”

As members of Envoyage, travel advisors and agency owners have the freedom to run their own businesses as they see fit, plus the power of a global brand and community behind them.

With the new Envoyage Group Center, travelers working with advisors who are members of Envoyage benefit from the fact that their travel experts have access to a wide range of group travel options with competitive rates and an experienced support team.

“The Envoyage Groups Center launch is so exciting!” says Sarah Purdy, Envoyage travel advisor. “My groups business has been focused mainly on destination weddings and social groups to resorts, but with the new Groups Center expansion, I look forward to growing my tour and river cruise group business as well. I’m proud to be a part of Envoyage’s evolution, as the developments include even greater resources and support for my thriving business.”

In the coming months, the Envoyage Group Center will expand its services to include support for ocean and river cruises, as well as guided tour bookings. This expansion will position the Envoyage Group Center as a one-stop shop for travel professionals seeking to grow their groups businesses, and offer a wide range of travel options to their clients.
