Here Are the Cruise Wave Season Promotions for 2025

Wave season is practically upon us and cruise lines are starting to release details of their promotions.

Here are all the offers we know about so far:

AmaWaterways

For this year’s Wave Season, AmaWaterways is offering complimentary land packages on hundreds of sailings in 2025 and 2026. The packages, which range in length from two to four nights, are available on select European sailings – more than 230 departure dates in 2025 and more than 460 in 2026. Bookings must be made between Jan. 1 and March 31, 2025. Clients who are unable to take advantage of these pre- or post-cruise extensions can take up to $2,000 per stateroom discount, depending on the itinerary and departure date.

Atlas Ocean Voyages

With its “Adventure Beyond” offer, Atlas is offering up to 30% in savings and up to $600 onboard credit on new bookings of select expeditions in 2025 made by Feb. 3, 2025.

Travel advisors also benefit with a $1,000 gift card for each new booking made on select February and March 2025 expeditions to Antarctica. Bookings must be confirmed by Feb. 3, 2025 to qualify.

Aurora Expeditions

From now through March 31, 2025, Auroa Expeditions is offering savings of up to 20% off on select 2025/2026 Antarctica expeditions, along with an Air Credit of up to $2,000 per person. In the Arctic, your clients can save up to 20% off, plus receive a free stateroom upgrade in balcony stateroom Categories B and C on select 2025 voyages. Additionally, solo travelers can take advantage of no single supplement sailings on select Antarctic and Arctic voyages.

As part of its Wave Season campaign, Aurora is also launching a trade incentive for advisors: The Big Polar Giveaway. Advisors who make and deposit a new booking, now through Feb. 15, will be entered into a drawing for the chance to win an Antarctic or Arctic expedition for two. Each qualifying booking counts as one entry, so the more bookings advisors make, the greater their chances of winning.

Azamara Cruises

This Wave Season, Azamara is offering up to $1,000 in onboard credit and more than $4,500 in added value with “Always Azamara” inclusions with new bookings made between Dec. 11, 2024 and Feb. 28, 2025. Promotion applies to select 2025 sailings only.

Celestyal Cruises

Celestyal has launched its “Live Your Vacation Dream” Wave season promotion for all new bookings made through Feb. 28, 2025. The campaign features savings of up to 50% across the line’s 2025, 2026, and early 2027 sailings. Additionally, select sailings earn guests a bonus credit of up to 100 euros per person pre-loaded on each guest’s CelestyalPay virtual wallet.

For advisors, Celestyal is offering a $50 bonus commission for select three- and four-night cruises during the campaign, and up to $100 for select seven-night cruises. A total of 19 sailings are including, including six Arabian Gulf “Desert Days” departures and 13 Greek and Mediterranean sailings.

Cunard

Cunard’s “Treat Yourself, On Us” promotion runs through March 26, 2025 and includes an onboard credit of up to $800 per stateroom for cruisers staying in a Queens Grill Suite on voyages of 10 to 20 nights. (Guests reserving a Britannia Stateroom receive up to $400 per stateroom OBC.) The promotion is available on most voyages between June 2025 and March 2027.

Also through March 26 only, cruisers who book a Balcony, Oceanview, or Inside stateroom on select 2025 and 2026 Alaska, Caribbean, and Panama Canal voyages on Queen Elizabeth can add the “Enjoy It All package” for $60 per person, per day. The package includes unlimited Wi-Fi, the “Beers, Wine, and Spirits” drink package, and alternative dining or Champagne afternoon tea.

Emerald Cruises

Emerald Cruises is offering two-for-one fares on both river cruises and yacht sailings, along with bonus savings of up to $1,000 per suite on select sailings, when booked through Feb. 2, 2025. Additionally, guests who pay in full within 30 days of booking (or 120 days prior to departure, whichever is sooner) can take advantage of free airfare.

Explora Journeys

Guests who reserve an Explora Journeys sailing by Feb. 28, 2025 will enjoy “exceptional” savings, a reduced 10% deposit, and up to 1,000 euros in prepaid Destination Experience Credits per suite, per reservation. The offer is combinable with many of the line’s other promotions including the Explora Early Booking Benefit, Journey Together and Journey Together Gatherings, Back-to-Back savings, and others. The Wave season promotion is not applicable to special sailings such as the Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco itineraries and packages.

Holland America Line

Holland America kicks off the new year with an early Wave season deal for anyone booking a “Have It All” cruise package for select sailings from spring 2025 through spring 2026. As part of the promotion, cruisers will get a free stateroom upgrade in select categories (inside to ocean-view or ocean-view to verandah), reduced fares, 50% reduced deposits, and free kids’ fares (when traveling as third and fourth guests in the same cabin). The “Start Your Journey Sale” begins Dec. 19, 2024 and runs through Feb. 28, 2025.

If your clients book a “Start Your Journey Sale” sailing by Jan. 31, 2025, they’ll also get up to $400 per stateroom in onboard spending credit.

Hurtigruten

This Wave Season, Hurtigruten is offering up to 25% off its Original Coastal Express itineraries and up to 15% off its premium, all-inclusive Signature voyages: the North Cape Line and the Svalbard Line. The offer runs through April 30, 2025 for travel between April 2025 and March 2026 for the Coastal Express departures, now through April 2026 for the North Cape Line, and May through September 2025 for the Svalbard Line. To help advisors sell, the line is also offering an extra 5% off on select Coastal Express departures when booked through a travel advisor.

HX

Through March 31, 2025, clients can save up to $4,000 on select all-inclusive HX expeditions that travel between March 23, 2025 and March 31, 2027.

Margaritaville at Sea

For this year’s Wave season promotion, Margaritaville at Sea is offering savings of 60% off all guest fares on most sailings, plus up to $300 in onboard credit, and 3rd and 4th guests free. Bookings must be made between Dec. 27, 2024 and Jan. 31, 2025. Select sailings are also eligible for free stateroom upgrades and 10% savings on all pre-purchased sailing packages and onboard enhancements. Travel must occur through Dec. 31, 2026 aboard Margaritaville at Sea Islander and through Dec. 31, 2025 onboard Margaritaville at Sea Paradise.

Oceania Cruises

On bookings made from Dec. 11, 2024 to Jan. 31, 2025, travelers will receive up to a four-category stateroom upgrade, plus the choice of one amenity (free or reduced air, a premium drinks package, or a shipboard credit of up to $1,000 per stateroom). Both are available on a total of 105 global sailings – 79 in 2025 and 26 in 2026.

Paul Gauguin Cruises

This Wave Season, Paul Gauguin Cruises is offering a “Take Your Sweetie to Tahiti” promotion, featuring a $500 shipboard credit, along with a welcome bottle of Champagne and a chocolate treat on select 2025 voyages departing between April and December. The “Take Your Sweetie to Tahiti” promotion runs through Feb. 14, 2025.

Travel advisors also benefit, with a $250 gift card for each newly deposited booking made through Feb. 14.

Princess Cruises

Princess Cruises “Come Aboard” Wave season sale runs through Feb. 28, 2025 and provides savings of up to 40% on cruise fares, plus free room upgrades (between like-to-like staterooms), $99 deposits, and free sailings for 3rd and 4th guests in the same stateroom. The Come Board promotion applies to new bookings of 2025, 2026, and 2027 sailings.

Quark Expeditions

Quark is offering its biggest Wave Season promotion ever with its Triple Bonus Event, which features a pre-voyage package, valued at up to $3,500. The package includes a trio of benefits: a $1,500 flight credit (deducted from the cost of the voyage), free charter flight and pre-cruise hotel stay, and a one-year Priority Pass airport lounge membership (includes two lounge visits per passenger). This offer is available on all Arctic 2025 voyages in Svalbard, Greenland, and the Canadian Arctic, as well as select 2025/26 Antarctica voyages.

Additionally, travel advisors who book Arctic 2025 expeditions from Jan. 6 to 31, 2025 will receive a $250 gift card for each booking (based on double occupancy, single occupancy bookings earn a $125 gift card).

Regent Seven Seas Cruises

Regent’s “Upgrade Your Horizon” Wave Season promotion offers a free two-category upgrade (up to a Penthouse suite), savings of up to 20% on select sailings in 2025 and 2026 (25 of the 350-plus voyages included in the upgrade offer), and reduced deposits. The promotion is available on new bookings made between Jan. 1 and Feb. 28, 2025 and applies to select cruises departing through 2026.

Riviera Travel

Through the end of February, Riviera Travel is offering 50% off on 2026 river cruises, as well as up to $1,000 on 2025 river cruises (middle and upper decks only) — $500 per cabin on seven-night cruises and $1,000 per cabin on 10+ night rivers cruises. Additionally, clients can take advantage of low deposits for group bookings, with a $300 per person deposit required (instead of $600) for group bookings of seven-night cruises, and a $200 per person deposit (instead of $400) for group bookings of shorter river cruises.

Advisors can also benefit during Wave Season, earning a $50 gift card for each cabin booked in January and February on a seven-night river cruise ($100 for 10+ night sailings). Advisors must register their bookings to claim a voucher for the gift card.

Royal Caribbean

From now through March 31, 2025, Royal Caribbean is offering 60% off a second guest (promo code: BOGO60). Additionally, through Jan. 31, clients can book a Kids Sail Free cruise (promo code: KSF) on select sailings of three nights or longer departing on or after Jan. 3, 2025. The promo applies to children ages 12 years old and younger staying in the same room as the first full fare paying and second guests.

Scenic

For this Wave season, Scenic is offering two-for-one fares, free air, and bonus savings of up to $3,000 on yacht voyages and up to $1,750 on river cruises on select 2025 to 2027 sailings. All bookings must be made between Dec. 9, 2024 and Feb. 2, 2025 to qualify. Deposit is due at the time of booking to qualify for bonus savings. Free Air is available only for guests who pay in full 10 months prior to departure (based on suite category and destination).

Sea Cloud Cruises

For Wave Season 2025, Sea Cloud is offering savings of up to 65% on select sailings booked by March 31, 2025. The Catch the Early Wavy promotion is available on 30 voyages across the Caribbean and Europe. The savings are appliable to the new Venice-roundtrip sailings onboard Sea Cloud Spirit, which feature an overnight docked steps form St. Marks Square.

Seabourn

Seabourn has unveiled its annual “Sail of the Year” event, featuring extra savings and benefits on more than 400 2025 and 2026 worldwide ocean and expedition voyages. Included in the promotion are: 15% off on select voyages, 15% reduced deposit requirement; and up to $1,000 in shipboard credit per suite. The promotion runs through Feb. 18, 2025.

Silversea Cruises

Silversea Cruises has opened up its Wave Season promotion – “Up to $5,000 Reasons to Sail with Silversea” – offering savings of up to $5,000 per suite (or up to $2,500 per person) on more than 500 voyages, for both door-to-door and port-to-port all-inclusive fares. Additionally, during the promotional period, the deposit requirement on applicable sailings has been dropped to 15%. Bookings must be made between Dec. 4, 2024 and Feb. 28, 2025. (Offer not valid on World Cruises, Grand Voyages, and Special Combination Cruises.)

Star Clippers

This Wave, Star Clippers is offering up to $250 in air credits and complimentary onboard beverage credits on all three of their tall ships when booking a cabin in categories two through six for voyages through Nov. 2026. Guests booking a three- to six-night sailing will receive a $150 air credit per person and $150 beverage credit per cabin, while those booking a seven- to nine-night sailing will get a $200 air credit per person and $200 in beverage credits per cabin. Guests booking a sailing of 10 or more nights will get a $250 air credit per person and $250 in beverage credits per cabin. Bookings must be made by March 31, 2025 to qualify.

Viking

From now through Jan. 31, 2025, Viking is offering its Explorers’ Sale, providing North American travelers with a number of booking incentives including up to free international airfare on select itineraries, as well as $25 deposits for all itineraries. Special sale fares start at $1,999 per person on select fares, as well.

Virgin Voyages

This Wave Season, cruisers can pay for one passenger and get the second one (in the same stateroom) for 80% off, plus receive up to $300 in free drinks. No itinerary is off limits for the Wave offer. Additionally, Virgin is offering value-added propositions for solo cruisers and those who pay in full. Included are reduced single supplements (up to $3,500 off) and a 10% savings for pay-in-full clients who book and pay for their voyage at least 180 days ahead of sailing.
