Regent Seven Seas Cruises has made a series of strategic promotions within its North America sales organization, “reinforcing its commitment to delivering unmatched service and support to its travel advisor partners across the region.”
Jerod Evans takes on the role of vice president of sales, for RSSC. In his new role, he will oversee the entire field sales and strategic accounts teams across North America.
Shanel Knight has been promoted to senior director, business development and national accounts. In this expanded role, Knight will lead both the national accounts and business development teams. All business development managers and a newly created manager, national accounts position will report to her.
Finally, Randall James has been promoted to manager of trade operations. He will lead the account executives team, helping drive engagement and execution at the field level.
The promotions come as part of a refreshed sales structure, which also saw the departure of Eric Schmit, former director of national accounts and business development.
“With this incredibly talented team stepping into elevated leadership roles, I’m confident we’ve set the stage for even greater success,” said Wes D’Silva, chief commercial officer, Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “Jerod, Shanel, and Randall each bring unique strengths to our leadership team, and their promotions reflect not only their deep expertise, but our belief in the power of internal talent to drive Regent’s continued growth.”
All three will report directly to Shawn Tubman, senior vice president sales and trade marketing, North America.
