Silversea Cruises Unveils Bars & Lounges Onboard Silver Nova

Silversea Cruises Unveils Bars & Lounges Onboard Silver Nova

The Observation Lounge will be one of seven bars and lounges on Silver Nova.

In addition to eight signature restaurants, Silver Nova will include the line’s largest array of bars and lounges. The 10 bars and lounges will include several new-to-the-line concepts.

“In addition to her pioneering sustainability credentials, Silver Nova will unlock a new luxury experience for our guests, offering an industry-leading variety of bars, lounges, and restaurants with an entirely new design approach for Silversea,” said Barbara Muckerman, president and CEO for Silversea Cruises.

Dolce Vita Lounge
At the heart of Silver Nova will be the line’s signature Dolce Vita Lounge. Open from early in the morning until late in the evening, the piano bar and lounge will be the perfect spot for pre- and post-dinner drinks in the evening. During the day it will host a variety of enrichment activities.

Venetian Lounge
The two-level Venetian Lounge will be home to the bulk of Silver Nova’s enrichment and entertainment offerings, including live theatrical and musical performances, film screenings, informative lectures and seminars. Seating on the lower level will be cabaret style with small tables.

The Shelter
A brand new venue for Silversea, the Shelter will be a intimate evening-only bar, accommodating just 32 guests at a time.  Located next to two restaurants (Atlantide and S.A.L.T. Kitchen), it will be perfectly situated for pre-dinner aperitifs and post-dinner cocktails.

Connoisseur’s Corner
Silver Nova’s cigar bar will offer guests a selection of premium cigars and liquors, surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows and a spacious outdoor area.

Observation Lounge
Located on deck 10, the Observation Lounge will provide panoramic 270-degree views, perfect for scenic sightseeing. The space will also house the ship’s library.

Panorama Lounge
Another lounge offering 270-degree views, this larger one will be on deck five, and include both interior and exterior space at the back of the ship. On Silver Nova, the Panorama Lounge will feature a new layout and design when compared to Silversea’s Muse-class ships.

S.A.L.T. Bar
The S.A.L.T. Bar will enjoy a premium location onboard Silver Nova when compared to Silversea’s previous class of ships, relocated to deck 10. Lager than other S.A.L.T. Bars in the fleet, this one will feature a larger bar area, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows and a new outdoor area.

S.A.L.T. Lab
Also relocated to deck 10 for better views and with a new outdoor area, the S.A.L.T. Lab will be enhanced on Silver Nova with a new, larger layout. The “Lab” will enable guests to travel deeper into each sailed region through the lens of food and drink via hands-on cooking classes.

Otium Spa
The spa on Silver Nova will be relocated to deck five, with more interior space than on other Silversea ships. The 3,638-square-foot space will incorporate an indoor swimming pool, eight treatment rooms, relaxation area, fitness center, and beauty salon. The Ancient Roman Bath-inspired space will also have a larger thermal area with steam room, sauna, and pool, complete with travertine water fountain and natural stone design elements.

Most of the public areas will be found on decks three, four and five, as well as outside on deck 10.

“Silver Nova represents a milestone in our strategy to build the perfect ship for every itinerary, with her array of venues enhancing the guest experience to a new level,” Muckerman said.

The 728-guest Silver Nova is scheduled to launch in August 2023 and will be the first ship in the industry to be completely emission-free while docked in port. It will also be the line’s most spacious ship, with a space-to-guest ration of 75 gross registered tons-per-passenger. Highlights include the line’s largest variety of suite categories (13 in total), eight signature restaurants and a crew-to-guest ration of 1 to 1.3.
