Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is expanding its holiday collection of sailings to France with the brand-new “Magical Parisian Holiday” itinerary along the Seine. The seven-night holiday-themed itinerary sails roundtrip from Paris aboard the line’s S.S. Joie de Vivre, and takes guests to the French countryside where they can discover decorated chateaus, multiple French Christmas markets, and more.
“The holidays are such a special time for families and loved ones to come together, and France is truly one of the most spectacular backdrops for a festive getaway,” said Ellen Bettridge, president and CEO of Uniworld. “For the 2025 season, we’re thrilled for guests to experience this new addition to our Holiday Collection. It’s a fresh way to experience this magical season aboard a decked-out floating boutique hotel that immerses guests in French holiday traditions.”
Highlights include a tour of Versailles with access to secret apartments typically closed to the public, a walking tour of Rouen with a private choral performance in the Rouen Cathedral, a visit to a Normandy Cider farm, and a Make Travel Matter experience with a local family working to preserve the traditional style of broom weaving.
Additionally, for this special holiday sailing, guests can look forward to festive decor, cuisine, and drinks onboard.
The itinerary will have four departures in both 2025 and 2026, beginning in November to coincide with the holiday season.
