Rosewood Mandarina has just opened in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico, marking Rosewood’s fourth property in the country.
The luxury, all-suite resort has been nearly a decade in the making. It centers on flatlands, but its 134 accommodations are spread from the beach, through the flatlands, and up to the mountaintops. Each room has its own private plunge pool and an expansive terrace.
For an even more luxurious stay, Rosewood Mandarina offers the the Canalan Beachfront Villa and the Cora Four Bedroom Mountaintop Villa, both spacious options with infinity pools and sweeping beach and landscape views.
Rosewood Mandarina features four oceanfront pools, a fitness center, and Rosewood’s signature Asaya Spa and Explorers kids’ club. Food and beverage options include Mexican restaurant La Cocina and a Spanish beachfront eatery Buena Onda. In addition, a Japanese fine dining venue, Toppu, and a hidden cliffside cocktail bar, Barra Peñasco, will open later this year.
The resort offers access to a wide array of activities, from ziplining and surfing to polo matches and pickleball. There’s also the option for horseback riding at Mandarina Equestrian Club or golf at the Mandarina Golf Club, as well as curated nature hikes, yoga, and other wellness experiences.
