Castello di Vicarello, a family-owned, all-suite castle hotel in the Tuscan countryside, has unveiled its latest addition: Villa La Vedetta. The new accommodation is the property’s first standalone villa and is housed in a restored 12th-century watchtower.
The historic transformation was a year and a half in the making, and Villa La Vedetta now spans four floors and two spacious suites, each with marble-clad ensuite bathrooms. The villa also boasts a rooftop terrace, private gardens, and a private swimming pool.
“We wanted to create an extension of Vicarello,” the Baccheschi Berti family said in a statement, “ensuring that guests feel the same warmth, authenticity, and attention to detail that they’ve come to expect from our home.”
Guests at Villa La Vedetta may choose to have in-villa chef services. The open-plan ground floor includes a fully equipped kitchen opening onto the gardens, as well as a fireplace.
