Adventures By Disney Adds New Itinerary For 2018

Adventures by Disney will debut an Iceland vacation in 2018.

Bookings for the 2018 season of Adventures by Disney open tomorrow, and Walt Disney's guided tour division is enhancing its offerings and adding a new itinerary in Iceland.

The seven-night Iceland journey will highlight the country's natural beauty, including visits to Thingvellir National Park, Blue Lagoon and Mývatn Nature Baths. Other highlights include a scenic cruise past glaciers, a humpback whale-watching expedition, a whitewater rafting adventure through the glacial river of Skagafjörður and a hike along Seljalandsfoss and Goðafoss waterfalls. Travelers will be introduced to Icelandic culture by learning to make bread baked using geothermal heat, discovering the secret to Iceland’s traditional smoking process, and exploring Viking heritage and traditional turf houses.

Disney will be enhancing other popular itineraries in 2018 as well. The Germany itinerary will introduce experiences centered in Berlin, while the Ireland itinerary will add cultural activities such as learning the ancient sport of hurling. New additions to Costa Rica include an exploration of Caño Negro.

Adventures by Disney also will increase its number of departure date options for North American vacations.
