Air India Signs Up for Travelport Tool
Air India became the 50th airline to sign up for Travelport Rich Content and Branding, the third component of Travelport’s Merchandising Platform. It is slated to launch on the Smartpoint agency desktop later this year. Travelport Rich Content and Branding enables airlines to more effectively control how their fares and ancillary products are displayed and described on travel agency screens, bringing them more in line with the airline’s own website experience. The enrolled airlines range from low-cost carriers such as Ryanair and EasyJet to full-service airlines such as Delta and British Airways.
