AmaWaterways is launching a new advertising campaign on NBC stations, marking the river cruise line’s first-ever entry into the TV ad market.
AmaWaterways will air 15- and 30-second spots on those stations, all narrated by Executive Vice President and Co-Founder Kristin Karst, that showcases the line’s ships and itineraries. AmaWaterways will then expand the ads to stations in Philadelphia, Dallas, and San Diego in 2020.
“We are confident that this strategic TV and digital campaign with NBC owned stations will open our product up to a new generation of travelers,” said Janet Bava, chief marketing officer of AmaWaterways.
“We are thrilled to answer the call from our travel agency partners who, for many years, have longed for more consumer awareness around river cruising in general and AmaWaterways specifically.”
AmaWaterways is also scheduled to appear on Open House, an NBC luxury real estate show, along with a full dedicated episode of 1st Look, NBC’s weekly travel and lifestyle program.
