Carnival Corp. Orders Four New Ships
Carnival Corp. is starting the year off with an order for four new ships that will debut across its lines between 2019 and 2020. The cruise company has ordered two new ships for Costa Asia, one new vessel for P&O Cruises Australia, and one new Princess Cruises ship. All four ships will be built by Italian ship building company Fincantieri.
The two new ships dedicated to P&O Cruises are part of Carnival Corp.’s ongoing effort to expand in Australia. Its Australian fleet will reach eight with the two new additions.
The new Princess ship will be the fourth in the Royal Princess class; the new Costa Cruises Asia vessel will feature the “Italy’s finest" experience, decked out in Italian style, hospitality, and dining.
