Carnival Delays First China Sailings
Carnival Cruise Line’s planned entry into the Chinese market has been pushed back from 2017 to 2018 after a review of its fleetwide deployment schedule.
While Carnival was originally planning to debut the Miracle in China in 2017 and the Splendor in China a year later, both of those dates have been pushed back one year.
Both ships will still be based in China year-round after they move.
While the Carnival ships still will be aimed at American cruisers, Carnival Corp. in October announced plans to launch a new cruise brand aimed specifically at Chinese guests.
