Delta Air Lines and Spirit Airlines will begin flying to Havana on Dec. 1, making them the first two airlines to announce a start date for service to Cuba’s capital.
Delta’s service will depart daily from Miami, New York and Atlanta while Spirit will fly twice a day from Fort Lauderdale.
Tickets for Delta’s flights go on sale Sep. 10. Tickets for Spirit’s Havana service are already on sale.
The other airlines awarded Havana flights by the Department of Transportation—American, JetBlue, Southwest, United, Alaska, and Frontier—have yet to announce start dates.
