Germanwings Flight Crashes in France
Germanwings flight 4U9525 from Barcelona to Dusseldorf has crashed in the French Alps, killing at least 142 passengers.
French president Francois Hollande announced news of the crash in a press conference. Germanwings is based in Cologne, Germany, and owned by Lufthansa. Germanwings has now confirmed the crash on Facebook:
