Oberoi Confirms Opening Timetable For New Hotels

Oberoi Hotels & Resorts confirmed it will open three new resorts between October and the first quarter of 2017.  CEO Vikram Oberoi told a New York press gathering that Sukhvilas, 30 minutes from Chandigarh, provides a relaxing retreat adjacent to an 8,000 acre protected forest.  The resort will have a combination of rooms and luxury tents. Its spa will feature Ayurvedic treatments and wellness programs ranging up to 21 days.

By early January The Oberoi, Al Zorah will open, set on a natural beach 25 minutes from Dubai International Airport and 20 minutes from the airport in Sharjah. It will give the group the ability to offer guests a combination city and resort experience combined with its existing Dubai property. There is an 18-hole golf course, extensive meeting facilities, and 130 rooms and villas.

Also opening will be a Marrakech resort amidst 25 acres of citrus orchards, 20 miles from the city center. All but three of the 77 keys will have a private pool.

Oberoi told Travel Market Report hotels in Casablanca and Doha are both in the pipeline.
