by Jessica Montevago /
In honor of Rolling Stone's 50th anniversary, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH, will open a new exhibit on Friday celebrating the publication.
The Rolling Stone/50 Years exhibit will display original manuscripts and photographs, audio and video interviews and iconic covers from the magazine’s archives across three floors. Visitors can also check out letters written to the magazine by celebrities, including Mick Jagger, Hunter Thompson and Paul McCartney. A special section will be dedicated to the magazine’s trademark “Rolling Stone Interview,” with historic interviews with David Bowie, John Lennon, Madonna and President Barack Obama, among others.
The exhibit is opening in conjunction with the release of 50 Years of Rolling Stone, a book chronicling Rolling Stone’s history since its debut in 1967.
Rolling Stone/50 Years will be open until late November 2017.
