Rosewood Unveils Plans For New Wellness Concept
by Jessica Montevago /
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts will launch a new wellness concept when it opens Rosewood Phuket in April 2017, aiming to fill the “gaps that exist in the luxury hotel spa arena.”
Asaya will offer alternative therapies, lifestyle/nutrition coaching, educational wellness programming, fitness activities and healing treatments. Guests will have a personalized experience, collaborating one-on-one with lifestyle coaches, nutritionists and physical therapists, as well as specially designed spaces for relaxation and reflection. Spas will feature skincare from Maison Cauliéres and EviDenS de Beauté.
Asaya is also designed to promote socializing among wellness guests. It will have its own private Signature Suites and Villas for group treatments. In addition, visitors may choose to stay overnight in an Asaya Suite with separate sleeping, living and therapy areas. Public indoor and outdoor spaces will host a variety of fitness classes, from yoga to tai chi to spin.
At the Phuket property, there will be six wellness suites with an outdoor relaxation area, salt suana, Watsu pool, rain shower and spa bath. Ingredients for specialized treatments, like botanicals and herbs, will be freshly picked from the on-site garden.
Asaya will be introduced at other Rosewood properties in the coming months, including at Rosewood Hong Kong, scheduled for a 2018 opening.
