Silversea Cruises became the first cruise line to call on Bangladesh when Silver Discoverer visited Maheshkhali Island on Feb. 22.
The ship spent three days in Bangladesh, stopping at Hiron Point, Charaputia, Harbaria and Kokilmoni.
Global head of expedition planning and strategic development Conrad Combrink called the voyage “a major milestone in Silversea’s history.”
Silversea made a second voyage to Bangladesh last week on a 14-day itinerary that includes visits to ports in Myanmar.
