Wellness Hotel Trend: The Air You Breathe

Besides private fitness equipment in guestrooms, some hotels also are importing the most basic of elements, oxygen itself.
Hilton’s Five Feet to Fitness rooms have it. So do various Hyatt Hotels, Ritz Carltons, Seminole Coconut Creek Casino, SugarHouse Casino and others. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, indoor air quality is one of the top five health threats in the United States.
Hilton just launched its new program, Five Feet to Fitness, an in-room gym including more than 11 pieces of fitness equipment and purified air so travelers can work out privately in their own guest rooms.
The Global Wellness Institute reported that the global wellness industry was worth $3.7 trillion in 2015, and wellness tourism accounted for $563 billion of that.
