Pendry Hotels, the luxury hotel brand owned by Montage International, is going international.
Pendry this week announced plans to debut its first-ever international resort and residences in Barbados in 2026. The property, called Pendry Barbados, will take the place of the existing Port Ferdinand Luxury Marina and Residences on Barbados’ west coast.
The hotel will offer 74 oceanfront guest rooms and suites, along with 46 private residences that include access to all of the resort’s amenities such as its 111-berth marina club in Port Ferdinand.
For dining, Pendry Barbados will feature multiple offerings, including a destination restaurant, beach club bar & grille, rum bar, lobby lounge, and pool bar. Outside of dining, the hotel will also offer a signature Spa Pendry with seven treatment rooms, a fitness center, indoor and outdoor meeting space, plus Pendry’s Pinwheel Kids Club and Compass Sports.
“We are incredibly excited to embark on the international expansion of the brand with Pendry Barbados,” said Alan J. Fuerstman, founder, chairman, and CEO of Montage International.
“With our commitment to creating inspiring experiences in exceptional destinations, we felt an immediate connection to the dynamic beauty and warm, welcoming spirit of Barbados, and we look forward to introducing our guests, homeowners, and the local community to Pendry while creating lasting memories for many years to come.”
Pendry has long been known as one of the premier luxury hotel brands in the U.S. Its Los Angeles property, The Pendry West Hollywood, was recently named the third-best hotel in the U.S. by U.S. News and World Report for 2023.
