Medallion Status, New Groups Options and More Enhancements from Delta Vacations

What a year it’s been and it’s not even over! Delta Vacations is excited to announce new enhancements and offerings to benefit your clients and help you grow your business as we look forward to a bright future with you, our valued Travel Advisor partners.

Delta’s Chief Executive Officer, Ed Bastian recently communicated several program adjustments to all SkyMiles® Members. We are very happy to announce that, beginning January 1, 2024, customers who book Delta Vacations with a Travel Advisor will now earn toward Medallion^® Status on their flights, hotels, cars and activities—the same as customers who book Delta Vacations direct.

This is a new industry-leading benefit that ensures customers who value the experience with Delta are recognized for their loyalty no matter how they choose to book. No other tour operator can offer these benefits, and we are excited to grow this audience with you.

Top Things To Know:

• Members will now earn MQDs toward Medallion Status on their Delta Vacation packages. All passengers will earn MQDs on their flight, and the lead passenger will now also receive MQDs on non-flight portions of their package, such as hotels, cars and activities whether they book Delta Vacations direct or with a Travel Advisor.
• We will communicate with Members who have booked with a travel advisor, and are opted-in for emails from Delta, notifying them of this exciting new benefit that is now available when booking with their travel advisor of choice.
• A full suite of marketing materials will be provided in the coming months to assist you in communicating these benefits for SkyMiles Members.

• Exclusively with Delta Vacations, you can use miles as a form of payment on your clients’ bookings, all while they earn miles along the way and you earn commission.
• We’ve improved our group offerings, adding flexibility for you and your clients, and simplified the booking process. Delta Vacations now offers a new medium group travel option and has updated our small and large group options, making it easier than ever to plan special group getaways. Plus, our featured hotel partners are ready to deliver an elevated experience no matter how big or small your client’s party may be.
• With improved communication in mind for all our Travel Advisors, our Customer Engagement Center is now available to reach via chat and WhatsApp®.
• Delta Vacations now offers the Affirm® payment option on WorldAgent Direct for your clients.
• Delta Vacations is dedicated to providing the best experiences for your customers, with a renewed focus on 4- and 5-star resort properties worldwide and greater emphasis on upper room categories.
• New tours and activities are being added year-round, including a wide variety of private tours and upgraded transfer options.
• Exciting new destinations are being added throughout the year, including Europe product expansions, and we’re enhancing our product offering in Shannon, Naples and more as Delta’s network expands there for 2024. Our latest additions include:
