Atlas Ocean Voyages Adds Third Ship, Launches New Loyalty Program

Atlas Ocean Voyages continues to add to its offerings with the early addition of a third expedition yacht and the creation of an all-new loyalty program for past guests.

The line's third ship, World Voyager, will join the fleet in October 2023, just in time for the 2023/24 Antarctica season.

"Demand for our two expedition yachts in Antarctica surpassed all expectations, and we are delighted to add capacity for exploring the world's seventh continent during the upcoming 2023 season," said James Rodriguez, president and CEO of Atlas Ocean Voyages. "As our value travel advisor partners and guests request more year-round expedition experiences, we look forward to welcoming a third expedition vessel to the Atlas Ocean Voyages fleet a full year earlier than originally planned."

With the addition of World Voyager, giving the line a three-ship fleet, Atlas Ocean Voyages will offer an Antarctica Fly and Cruise option for the first time.

Like its sister ships, World Voyager boasts the latest in safety and ice class features. Originally delivered to a sister brand in 2020, World Voyager will undergo a style refresh before joining the Atlas fleet.

A fourth ship will join the ship in 2024.

Atlas Yacht Club Loyalty Program
Now that the line has been sailing for nearly two years – and has a sizeable database of past guests, Atlas has created a five-tiered loyalty program packed with benefits to entice cruisers to come back.

"I have met many customers who rebook while on board because they crave another adventure with us," Rodriguez said. "This new program is our way of thanking them for their commitment to the brand."

Travelers are automatically enrolled in the Atlas Yacht Club when they make their first booking. Using their loyalty number, guests can register at MyAtlas to indicate their personal preferences such as mini-bar beverages, preferred bed configuration, parka and rubber boot sizes, and any special requests.

Benefits of being in the program will include access to special savings on select voyages, private cocktail parties with the captain and senior officers, and onboard credits of up to $200 per guest.

The club's five levels (purple, bronze, silver, gold, and Captain's Yacht Club) will be based on the number of nights sailed with purple status gained at a minimum of seven nights sailed and the highest tier earned after 201 nights.

Past guests of Atlas may refer friends and family to sail on their first Atlas voyage and the new guests will receive the applicable loyalty savings.
