Carnival To Install Horizon To New York

Horizon is the second ship in Carnival's Vista class.

Starting in summer 2018, Carnival Cruise Line’s second Vista class ship, Horizon, will sail out of New York City.

The ship, which is set to be delivered in March 2018, will first sail a 14-day repositioning cruise from Barcelona before arriving in New York on May 23, 2018.

Horizon will spend four months sailing eight-day Caribbean cruises from New York before moving its homeport to Miami in September 2018. Its maiden voyage, a 14-day roundtrip cruise after Barcelona, is scheduled for April 2, 2018.

The ship will sport many of the same features of its sister ship, Vista, including SkyRide, an IMAX Theatre, Kaleid-O-Slide and the RedFrog Pub & Brewery.
