Celebrity Cruises’ sales team has successfully completed the Special Needs Group’ (SNG) training program to assist guests with disabilities, the first travel industry supplier team to do so.

SNG’s Certified Accessible Travel Advocate (CATA) program is designed to provide travel professionals with the knowledge required to effectively service travelers who require mobility and other forms of special needs services.

It consists of three online modules and a testing component and is available free to professionals who possess a valid membership in a variety of industry organizations, including ARC, IATA and CLIA. More than 4,000 travel industry professionals have been certified.

Aside from training and education programs, Dania Beach, Florida-based Special Needs Group is also a leading global provider of special needs equipment rentals, including wheelchairs, scooters and oxygen-related equipment. It also offers a broad range of special needs equipment for purchase.
