Computer Outage Delays Flights At Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport
by Daniel McCarthy /
More than 100 flights have been cancelled after a widespread computer outage grounded flights at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport on Wednesday.
The problem shut down Netherlands’ Air Traffic Control, pushing inbound flights to other European airports.
Almost all flights at the airport are either cancelled or delayed, including flights on the country’s national carrier KLM to Germany, Belgium, Britain and the United States.
The airport is currently “doing everything possible to find a solution," according to Reuters.
