Delta’s Anderson to Retire

Delta’s Anderson to Retire


Delta Air Lines chief executive officer Richard Anderson, who guided the carrier out of bankruptcy and into impressive profitability, will retire effective May 2. He will become executive chairman of the board of directors at that time.  Anderson will be succeeded by Ed Bastian, who currently serves as president.
