Maine Joins With LL Bean To Attract Adventure Tourists
Adventure travel is the focus of a Maine Office of Tourism online campaign that follows six young tourists engaged in a variety of quintessential Maine experiences.
The agency partnered with outdoor outfitter L.L. Bean to create a special issue of The Maine Thing Quarterly—a three-year-old digital publication that promotes Maine’s culture and lifestyle.
The documentary-style photography, video footage and accompanying narrative, curated into a special issue entitled “Chasing the Sun,” follow the visitors as they check into the Harraseeket Inn in Freeport, bike ride in Yarmouth, dine on seafood, go camping and paddle boarding, and learn how to fly fish on the Royal River.
