Marriott International’s Millennial-geared Moxy Hotels brand will debut this spring, in New Orleans, LA, and Tempe, AZ.
The “affordable lifestyle” brand features lounge areas, 24/7 grab-and-go snacks, free Wi-Fi, and a full-service bar. Guestrooms will offer keyless entry, motion-sensor lighting, and 42-inch flat-screen televisions.
The 108-room property in New Orleans, just blocks from the bustling French Quarter, has a library and a fitness center with a full-circuit gym. It’s scheduled to open in April.
Moxy Tempe will debut in March in the Phoenix-metro area known for its underground art and nightlife. It will feature 186 industrial-inspired bedrooms, as well as outdoor space.
Moxy Hotels first launched in Milan in September 2014. The pipeline includes properties in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, and Nashville in the United States, as well as Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin, Oslo, Aberdeen, and London. The portfolio will include nearly 150 hotels within the next 10 years.
