Norwegian Cruise Line to Pay Travel Agents Commission on NCFs for Dawn San Juan Sailings

Norwegian Cruise Line will temporarily pay commission on the non-commissionable fee amount for Norwegian Dawn San Juan sailings on all new bookings.
Norwegian made the announcement in an email to travel partners today, writing that it is “reaffirming San Juan as a beautiful point of embarkation for Norwegian Dawn and the role our guests will play in supporting the local economy.”
Norwegian has altered all Dawn sailings going forward to remove “the most impacted ports of call,” it said. Its first San Juan itinerary will sail on Nov. 12, followed by scheduled itineraries departing Nov. 19, Nov. 26, and Dec. 10
“We believe we have created itineraries which will be enjoyed by our guests,” senior vice president of Camille Olivere wrote.
The new revised itinerary for the seven-day sailings will leave from San Juan and then take a day at sea before calls in Bridgetown, Barbados; Fort-de-France, Martinique; Basseterre, St. Kitts; St. John’s, Antigua; and St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands before returning to Stan Juan.
Norwegian said that it expects Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan to be “closer to a normal operating schedule” by the time Dawn starts sailing next month.
