Princess Cruises will sail roundtrip from the Port of Los Angeles to Mexico, Hawaii, and the California Coast this summer, marking the line’s first-ever summer season doing so.

The itineraries, sailing on Sapphire Princess, will include cruises ranging from 4 to 16-days, including a July 4, 5-day holiday sailing.

Other highlights include a Mexican Riviera with La Paz 7-day itinerary that includes stops in Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada; a 10-day Baja Peninsula & Sea of Cortex cruise that includes an overnight in Cabo San Lucas; a 7-day Classic California Coast itinerary that includes an overnight in San Francisco; and 15- and 16-day Hawaiian Islands Cruises.

Princess is offering $1 deposits and $50 onboard spending per person during a special launch-week promotion that runs to Feb. 24. The sailings will go on sale on Feb. 16.

Princess also recently expanded the capabilities of its MedallionPay experience to more than 65 retailers, restaurants, and shore excursion providers across the Caribbean, Mexican Riviera, and Alaska. Now, cruisers who use their Medallions at participating merchants will receive an immediate seven percent cashback in the form of onboard credit to spend on their current cruise or convert into a future cruise credit.

For the first year of the land-based MedallionPay service, passengers will earn seven percent back on all their MedallionPay purchases in the form of onboard credit to be used on their current cruise. Cruisers may also choose to convert their cashback into a future cruise credit.

The cashback provided by Princess is on top of any rewards (including cashback) provided by your client’s credit card. If your client has a three percent cashback Discover card on file with Princess and makes a purchase using their Medallion at Diamonds International in Cozumel, they essentially get a total of 10% cashback.
